Eight days ago seems a long time but at the first lights of the day, of a common European day, the Democracy Exercise in the USA Presidential Elections (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_presidential_election,_2012) unified for another time the modern age to the tradition of ancient Greek polis.
